The General Secretariat for Social Inclusion and Social Welfare Objectives and Policies of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration awarded Sogeviso the Social Inclusion Seal in the category of social and occupational integration

The General Secretariat of Social Inclusion and Social Welfare Objectives and Policies, part of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration awarded Sogeviso the Social Inclusion Seal (SIS for its acronym in Spanish) that gives recognition to entities or companies which carry out actions that contribute to the transition of people in receipt of the minimum living allowance from the risk of poverty and exclusion to inclusion and active participation in society, and that meet the requirements set out in article 3 of Royal Decree 636/2022, of 26 July. This mark of distinction aims to encourage public-private partnerships to contribute to the common goal of social inclusion.

The Social Inclusion Seal awarded is for social and occupational integration, one of the five categories for which this distinction is awarded. This recognition once again highlights the value of Sogeviso’s work based on socially responsible and economically sustainable management, highlighting the importance of the social support programmes that the company has in place and, in particular, its Job Placement Programme.

Antoni Sorolla, General Manager of Sogeviso, says that “awards like this would not be possible without the efforts of our workforce and partners; this encourages us to continue working on this type of social inclusion projects”. The actions of Sogeviso’s Job Placement Programme have facilitated integration into the labour market for people in receipt of the minimum living allowance, among others. It is worth mentioning that, through this programme and since its launch in 2016, more than 2,400 people have benefited by finding employment.
